Open Space | The Hogan Residence, Douglas Rucker 1964

At the top of Laurel Canyon sits an unassuming post and beam Tree House by famed Architect Douglas Rucker dubbed The Hogan Residence built in 1964. The home was originally built for TV actor Jack Hogan who also studied Architecture in College before making his way into Television. Chris and Susanna have been fortunate enough to be able to call this place home. They share their story on how they were able to acquire the home to raising a baby in the home alongside the work they've done to make it into their own while preserving the Architecture and Legacy of Douglas Rucker. The home is listed with the city of Los Angeles as a cultural monument thanks to the help of Douglas Rucker working alongside Chris and Susanna to make sure that the home stays preserved for decades to come.
